During an active call, you can transfer the caller to another person using either a blind or attended transfer.
Blind transfer connects the caller to the other person immediately, without speaking to them first.
Attended transfer lets you speak with the second person before completing the transfer.
To transfer a call:
- During an active call, click the ellipsis menu (⋯) in the call controls.
- Choose your transfer type:
- Blind — the caller is transferred immediately.
- Attended — the caller is placed on hold while you speak with the recipient first.
- Dial a number or select a contact to transfer to.
- Click Complete Transfer to connect the two parties.
Note: If you selected Attended transfer and the recipient doesn't answer or you change your mind, you can click Cancel to return to the original caller.
