You can edit a message you have already sent in a chat conversation.
Edit a message
- Hover over the message you want to edit.
- Click or tap More actions (⋯) in the toolbar that appears above the message.
- Select Edit message.
- The message will appear in the compose box. Make your changes and press Enter to save.
Quickly edit your last message
If you just sent a message, press the up arrow key on your keyboard while the compose box is empty to immediately load your last message for editing.
Note: You can only edit your own messages. Edited messages will be marked to indicate they have been changed.
