If you're signed in to more than one device, you can move an active phone call from one device to another without hanging up. For example, you can start a call on your desktop at your office and continue it on your mobile app as you head out — the other party stays connected and won't be notified.
How it works
When you have a call in progress on one device, any other device where you're signed in will show a banner at the top of the screen. The banner:
- Tells you a call is in progress
- Stays visible for the entire length of the call
- Appears no matter where you are in the app (meeting dashboard, team chat, webinars, and so on)
- Includes a Switch button
Switching a call to another device
- On the device you want to move the call to, tap or click Switch in the banner.
- The call connects on that device immediately, and the audio drops on the device you were originally using.
- The original device then displays the banner with its own Switch button — so you can move the call back if you need to.
*The switch happens without dropping the call or notifying the other party.
